I’ve kept the following three things in mind, throughout the process of “improving my eyesight naturally.”
-4.00 and over is considered “high myopia,” so I wanted to drop it down to -4.00 at least. As of Sept 2012, I can see relatively clearly with -4.00 specs (not 20/20 vision yet, but looks likely). My spectacles were originally -7.25 both sides.
I followed these steps thanks to the following book:
[Relearning to See, by Thomas R. Quackenbush
(based on the work of Dr. William H. Bates)]
The book describes the three points I mentioned above in GREAT DETAIL — much more than a blog post here could do.
P.S. I am not affiliated with the author of the above book — I really couldn’t have embarked on this without the book!
